Six (Iman) beleif of Islam and five pillars (Ibada) practice of Islam

Bismillahi ARRAHMANI ARRAHIM, we will talking here about a great Hadith that summarizes all Islam between its great words and includes all Pillars of Islam

 

Haditho Jibreel alaihi assalam -and we say alihi assalam for angel not just respectiong to him but because ALLAH subhanahu wa Tâala said that- It is a clarifying

 

 

While we were one day sitting with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) there appeared before us a man dressed in extremely white clothes and with very black hair. No traces of journeying were visible on him, and none of us knew him. He sat down close by the Prophet (ﷺ) rested his knees against the knees of the Prophet (ﷺ) and placed his palms over his thighs, and said: "O Muhammad! Inform me about Islam." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) replied: "Islam is that you should testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger (ﷺ), that you should perform salah (ritual prayer), pay the zakah, fast during Ramadan, and perform Hajj (pilgrimage) to the House (the Ka`bah at Makkah), if you can find a way to it (or find the means for making the journey to it)." He said: "You have spoken the truth." We were astonished at his thus questioning him (ﷺ) and then telling him that he was right, but he went on to say, "Inform me about Iman (faith)." He (the Prophet) answered, "It is that you believe in Allah and His angels and His Books and His Messengers and in the Last Day, and in fate (qadar), both in its good and in its evil aspects." He said, "You have spoken the truth." Then he (the man) said, "Inform me about Ihsan." He (the Prophet) answered, "It is that you should serve Allah as though you could see Him, for though you cannot see Him yet He sees you." He said, "Inform me about the Hour." He (the Prophet) said, "About that the one questioned knows no more than the questioner." So he said, "Well, inform me about its signs." He said, "They are that the slave-girl will give birth to her mistress and that you will see the barefooted ones, the naked, the destitute, the herdsmen of the sheep (competing with each other) in raising lofty buildings." Thereupon the man went off. I waited a while, and then he (the Prophet) said, "O `Umar, do you know who that

questioner was?" I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know better." He said, "That was Jibril. He came to teach you your religion

   The Aqeeda ul-Islam have six articles of belief  The articles are

 Belief in Allah, the only God

 

It’s the first and most important pillar. To believe in Allah is to believe that there is only one God worthy of worship, with no partner, or son. This concept is known as Tawheed. Also, it is to completely believe in the way he is described in the Quran, Sunnah and in his names

 Belief in all the Angels of God

 

The second pillar is to believe in Allah’s angels. They are not his children as some may think. They were created from light and were created before

humans for the purpose of worshipping Allah

Angels do not sleep, eat or suffer from illnesses. It is crucial to believe in the angels, as they keep a record of our deeds. Some of the other duties of angles include: blowing the trumpet on judgment day, taking people’s souls (i.e. angel of death) and to be the keepers of heaven and hell

 Belief in the books sent by God

 

 

The third pillar is to believe in the books of Allah which delivered to the nations by the messengers. Allah revealed books to his messengers as a

 

form of guidance and proof for mankind. Among these books, is the Quran, which was revealed to Prophet Muhammad

Allah has guaranteed the protection of the Quran from any distortion or corruption and clearly mentioned that in the Holy Qur’an

 Belief in the messengers

 

The fourth pillar is to believe in all prophets and messengers sent by Allah and that the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the last of them

Most of the messengers of Allah were sent to a specific nation except Prophet Muhammad, who was sent to guide all of mankind. It is a duty of Muslims to send salaams (Peace and Blessings of Allah) when mentioning the names of any of the Prophets

 Belief in the Day of Judgment and in the Resurrection

 

Muslims attest to the truth of everything Allah or his messenger, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said about death

Allah has not created his creation in vain. He created men and jinn to worship him and promised paradise as a reward to those who obey him and his messengers, and promised hellfire to those who disobey him or his messengers

Allah has set a certain period for the whole universe, whose end will be the final hour. During the final hour, humans will be questioned about their deeds in this world. Those deeds will be weighed for them. One whose good deeds overweigh his evil deeds will prosper, while whose bad deeds outweigh his good ones will be condemned to hellfire – unless he died in the state of Islam. Then, Allah would either forgive him or punish him, and eventually, he would enter paradise

 Belief in Destiny and God’s chosen path

 

Doom (Qadhaa’) is the general decree of Allah that every human shall die, whereas a divine decree (Qadr) is a particular decree of Allah or the execution of Qadhaa’, that a certain person is to die at a particular time and place. Hence, believing in this pillar entails believing that Allah has created everything and has foreordained its proper measure

 

 

The Practice of Islam have five pillars

 The Profession of Faith—The Shahada

 

The Profession of Faith, the shahada, is the most fundamental expression of Islamic beliefs. It simply states that “There is no God but God and Muhammad is his prophet.” It underscores the monotheistic nature of Islam. It is an extremely popular phrase in Arabic calligraphy and appears in numerous manuscripts and religious buildings

 Daily Prayers—Salat

 

Muslims are expected to pray five times a day. This does not mean that they need to attend a mosque to pray; rather, the salat, or the daily prayer, should be recited five times a day. Muslims can pray anywhere; however, they are meant to pray towards Mecca. The faithful pray by bowing several times while standing and then kneeling and touching the ground or prayer mat with their foreheads, as a symbol of their reverence and submission to Allah.  Alms-Giving—Zakat

 

The giving of alms is the third pillar. Although not defined in the Qu’ran, Muslims believe that they are meant to share their wealth with those less fortunate in their community of believers

 Fasting during Ramadan—Saum

 

During the holy month of Ramadan, the ninth month in the Islamic calendar, Muslims are expected to fast from dawn to dusk. While there are exceptions made for the sick, elderly, and pregnant, all are expected to refrain from eating and drinking during daylight hours

 Pilgrimage to Mecca—Hajj

 

All Muslims who are able are required to make the pilgrimage to Mecca and the

 surrounding holy sites at least once in their lives. Pilgrimage focuses on visiting the Kaaba and walking around it seven times. Pilgrimage occurs in the 12th month of the Islamic calender

BismiLLAHI ARRAHMANI ARRAHIM wa salla ALLAHU ala rassoulihi al karim wa ala aalih wa sahbihi wa sallam 

Today insha ALLAH will talking about what is Islam, and what is Islam? Then let's beginning.

In language literature meaning  the arabic word ‘Islam’ means ‘submission’, and is derived from a word meaning ‘peace’.  As such, the religion of Islam teaches that in order to achieve true peace of mind and surety of heart, one must submit to God and live according to his divinely  revealed  law. That means  too  that  Islam was  the  only one religion from God subhanahu wa taala -  "اِنَّ الدِّيۡنَ عِنۡدَ اللّٰهِ الۡاِسۡلَام" "Islam  is the only religion acceptable to Allah" Quran (QS 3 : 19) Oh  yeah  that  means too that all messanges came from one source and held the same message Islam is not a new religion because ‘submission to the will of God’, Islam, has always been the only acceptable religion in the sight of God.  For this reason, Islam is the true ‘natural religion’, and it is the same eternal message revealed through the ages to all of God’s prophets and messengers.  The main message of all the prophets has always been that there is only One True God and He alone is to be worshipped.  These prophets start with Adam and include Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon, John the Baptist, and Jesus, peace be upon them all .  

“We did not send before you (O Muhammad) any messenger but We revealed to him: ‘none has the right to be worshipped except I, therefore worship Me.’” (Quran 21:25) 

However, the true message of these prophets was either lost or got corrupted over time.  Even the most recent books, the Torah and the Gospel were adulterated and hence they lost their credibility to guide the people to the right path.  Therefore 600 years after Jesus, God revived the lost message of previous prophets by sending the Prophet Muhammad with His final revelation, the Holy Quran, to all of mankind.  Since the Prophet Muhammad was the final prophet, God Himself has promised to preserve His last revealed words so that it is a source of guidance for all humanity till the Last Day.  It is now imperative for everyone to believe and follow this final message from God.  God Almighty says in the Quran: “We have not sent you (O Muhammad) but to all mankind as a giver of good news and as a warner, but most people do not know.” (Quran 34:28) .

“Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.” (Quran 3:85)

The word “Muslim” means one who submits to the will of God, regardless of his/her race, nationality or ethnic background.  Hence, any person who is ready to submit to the will of God is eligible to become a Muslim.

One God One message One religion :

Allah, the Exalted, created mankind and the jinn and equipped them with the faculty of the mind with which they may know the Creator and discriminate between good, evil, sound, unsound, valid and invalid matters. The mind alone can deduce that this universe, with all its elements, must have a Creator who is Alive and attributed with the perfect attributes and that the Creator does not resemble the created things in any way. However, the mind alone cannot deduce that the name of the Creator is Allah, cannot deduce how to worship Him and cannot deduce what is lawful and what is not.

Allah, the Wise, sent Prophets and Messengers to convey the message of Allah; the purpose of this life, the sets of rules to be lived by and the underlying consequences.

All the Prophets and Messengers were supported by Miracles to substantiate their true claim of Prophethood. The sound mind concludes the truthfulness of the one who claims to be a Prophet when he performs a miracle that others cannot imitate on the grounds of challenging his truthfulness.

Abraham was launched into a fervid fire set ablaze and neither he nor his clothes were burnt.

Saleh brought out a camel and its offspring from a solid rock.

Moses threw his staff on the ground and it turned into a frightening serpent which swallowed the ropes of the sorcerers of Pharaoh.

Jesus shaped a bat out of clay and it became alive by the Will of Allah.

Muhammad made the moon split into two halves each falling on either side of the mountain.

These are only examples of many Miracles that they performed. May Allah raise all of their ranks and reward them greatly for the guidance they provided for us.

Allah, the Exalted, chose the choicest among the men to be Prophets and Messengers. The Wisdom of Allah entailed that all the Prophets and Messengers would be attributed with befitting attributes that enforce their credibility so that they may successfully convey the message from Him. Hence, all the Prophets and Messengers, before and after Prophethood,  are trustworthy, truthful, intelligent, beautiful in shape, have beautiful voices, impeccable from committing blasphemy and enormous sins and small mean sins, clear from being inflicted with repelling ailments, clear from vileness, clear from stupidity, clear from lying, clear from cheating and clear from all non befitting attributes.

Prophet Muhammad, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, informed us in his saying which was narrated by Ibn Hibban, that Allah sent 124000 Prophets and Messengers; 313 among them were Messengers. A Messenger is someone who received a new set of laws to convey from Allah, whereas a Prophet is someone who was ordered to follow and convey the set of rules revealed to the Messenger before him or at his time. Hence, every Messenger is a Prophet but not every Prophet is a Messenger.

Prophet Muhammad, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, informed us in his saying which was narrated by al-Bukhari, Muslim and others,

" that the Prophets are like brothers from the same mother but different fathers".

He further explained that their basic creed is one and the same but the laws with which they came differed to some extent. Hence, all the Prophets and Messengers were Muslim and taught that the Creator does not have partners, He is attributed with the perfect attributes, He is clear from all non befitting attributes, He does not resemble the creations in anyway, he is the only One who deserves to be worshipped and that His name is Allah . They also taught that the purpose of this life is to serve as a testing medium that determines in our minds who submits to the order of Allah and worship Him and who does not.

However, the laws differed from one Messenger to another because the Divinely Wisdom entailed that the needs of the people required such differences. At the time of Prophet Adam the institution of marriage required that the brother would marry his non twin sister. At the time of Prophet Seth that rule was abrogated, since the need was no longer standing, and it became prohibited for one to marry his sister per se whether or not his twin sister. The laws of purification, prayers and other differed to some extent from one Prophet to another reflecting the need of the people at the time the abrogation was put into effect.

Only some among all the Messengers and Prophets whom Allah sent to us are mentioned in the Qur'an. Allah told us the tales of some and did not tell us about the tales of the rest.

Well firstly before becoming a muslim please take a break with yourself and ask yourself some questions if you already didn't ; Are there any creature for us somewhere?  Why we as a human species are here in this Earth? Is our lives will end by death? ... And you can ask a with your heart in a relaxing time this question :"Please GOD if you exist guide me to your real way and repeat it from time to time !

But please don't make to same mistakes as many do don't searching reality in media or in muslims facts or some else because muslims are too humans and make mistakes and their mistakes not related to their religion... but you can starting research by Holly Quran you should go to the nearest mosque to you to get one for free or purchase one with traduction from library ! I will remend you that always you should talk to the creature without intermidiate and be honest when asking ! Be sure the GOD hear your prayer just continue asking. But one more thing ; if you wanna learn about Islam you should learn it from Its Book ; i mean in the Quran and stay away of the Media because Media will just wash your brain as always does ! Also do not learn Islam from some muslims acts because most of them are far of Islam and if you become a muslim you'll give them a reat lesson about how a real muslim should be 

Start with the Quran. Try to read two surahs a day. They start long but soon grow much shorter. If you do this, within one year, you will have read the whole Quran. Take notes and ask other Muslims you know what questions arise. You can be a Muslim on just the Quran alone; the more nuanced intricacies and beliefs come from the sunnah and hadiths.

Don’t go in aiming to be in one sect, branch, ideology, or another. Just go in accepting Allah and let him guide you to where you’re meant to be. Some people are meant to be nondenominational / Quranist. Some are meant for Ahmaddiya. Some are meant for Sunni. Some are meant for Shia. Don’t refuse to learn about or visit one group or other just because somebody says these other people are crazy or heretics.

You will be tested. When it happens, you are allowed to feel the strain and lament it, but don’t forget that Allah doesn’t test those whom can’t overcome. They are opportunities for your strong faith and character to triumph. These tests aren’t fun, but you will feel great for succeeding at them and you will look back with regret the ones you do poorly on. Try your best every single day. Some things will need to change. The three main things are no more booze, no more pork, and having to integrate the salat prayers into your life etc

There is no God but Allah. We are 100% monotheistic and absolutely serious about it. I don’t know your religious background, but if you’re from something like Hinduism, Wicca, Christianity, Mahayana, UU, or Animism, you’re going to have to drop the idea of there being multiple gods, hypostatic unions, aspects, and so on. Islam only has Allah. He has no partners, no wives, no lovers, no husbands, no parents, no children, no faces, no avatars, no incarnations, and no rivals. He is the only deity of all the worlds. He is one, indivisible.Becoming a Muslim

Becoming a Muslim requires a very simple act, but the meaning behind it is very deep.You have to believe that there is only one God, Allah, who created the entire universe, and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is his final messenger on earth.If you recite this, with total sincerity, in front of two witnesses, you have become a Muslim. It really is as simple as that.

Muslims call this recitation the Shahadah, and refer to it as the first Pillar of Islam.

And if you become a Muslim by converting (some Muslims would say "reverting") to Islam your fellow Muslims will accept you as if you had been born a Muslim

Submitting to God

Becoming a Muslim takes you into a new world.

It's a world in which you are intensely aware of your relationship with Allah, and aware that everything in the world exists because Allah chose that it should

This gives life a whole new meaning, it lifts many responsibilities, and replaces them with the single aim of living life in the way that Allah wants you to live it. So when you become a Muslim you have to live Allah's way. Every moment of your life has to follow Allah's will. Every choice you make must be the choice that would please Allah. This may sound pretty constricting to people brought up in cultures that put more emphasis on the individual and what they want. A Muslim would disagree. Part of the family

Muslims think of themselves as members of one family, called the Ummah. It's a family of all Muslims, and not just of all Muslims around the world, but of all Muslims who ever existed.

Constantly in touch with Allah

Once a Muslim has accepted Allah as the one and only God, they have to establish a constant link with God in their everyday lives - prayer is perhaps the best way to do that, and prayer is the second Pillar of Islam. If it's possible, a Muslim should pray five times a day, at set times, and facing Mecca. You can pray almost anywhere. In mosques men and women pray separately; in some mosques this is done with the men at the front and the women behind, in other mosques there are separate rooms for men and women

Caring for others

Currency Muslims above the subsistence level must pay up 2.5% of their annual savings to help people in need. Prayer and belief are not enough to make someone a good Muslim. Islam is very concerned about looking after the welfare of poor people, and the Qur'an specifies that all Muslims above the subsistence level must pay up 2.5% of their annual savings to help people in need.

 

So once a year a Muslim works out 2.5% of everything they own, and hands it to an approved organisation to use for charitable purposes. Islam call this “Zakat”, and it's the third pillar of Islam.

It's not a religious tax, as some people (not Muslims) say; it's an act of worship, and it's something that pleases God: in fact in the Qur'an you'll find that prayer and zakat are frequently spoken of together. Zakat is an act of worship that goes directly to making the world a better place for people who are up against it.

Paying Zakat also purifies the 97.5% of your wealth that remains, and you can use this as you wish with clear heart. You can use some of it for gifts to charity, but such spontaneous charity is called sadaqah, not Zakat.

Cheating on zakat

Don't ever think of fiddling this calculation in order to pay less.

This isn't like cheating on your income tax, it's cheating on your relationship with God, and you and God will both know about it.

It would be like saying your prayers without meaning them. Or saying your prayers and then doing bad deeds.

Cheating God never, ever works. Not just because all good deeds and bad deeds are assessed at the Day of Judgement, but also because if you cheat on your faith you cheat yourself of everything that being a good Muslim means.

Being poor and hungry

If you're a Muslim it's not enough just to give money for the poor; you're expected to understand what it feels like to be poor and hungry, and to go without food and drink.

So once a year, for a month called Ramadan, all Muslims fast from first light until sunset; abstaining from food, drink, sex, and smoking.

This fasting not only helps a Muslim understand the needy, it's a sort of ritual purification of themselves.

Giving things up

It's not just at Ramadan that Muslims abstain. When you become a Muslim you have to give up certain things like alcohol - khamr - and, of course, drugs for ever.

And Muslims don't go to places where alcohol is served - so if you want to discuss Islam with a Muslim friend, the pub is not the place to suggest.

You'll find that Muslims manage to have just as good a time without them as most people do with them - In fact they have a much better time.

 

Tobacco isn't banned in the Qur'an, but the Qur'anic principles suggest that smoking is not a good thing
